The Challenge 

The client aimed to execute a complex and ambitious transformation program; driven from India for its global digital and operational technology landscape. 

The scope included high-stakes, business-critical roles, demanding a rare blend of IT/OT knowledge, deep infrastructure expertise, and domain-aligned innovation capabilities.

The India-based team was expected to lead and deliver in areas like: 

• lloT platform engineering, edge compute, and digital twin simulation 

• Building high-performance compute environments leveraging Azure, NetApp, and secure backup/restore systems 

• Designing and securing PCN/OT networks, including access, cloud, extranet, and radio frequency engineering 

• Deploying cybersecurity best practices in OT landscapes, safeguarding industrial systems 

• Creating detailed technical documentation, cost engineering inputs, and instrumentation strategies for asset-heavy units 

• Driving real-time data integration, XR readiness, and ensuring site reliability across globally distributed assets

The roles demanded cross- functional excellence, knowledge of regulated environments, and seamless collaboration with international stakeholders, most of whom were operating in mission- critical, live production settings.
